Newwind Advancements

Advancements have been overhauled, adding 550+ Newwind-specific challenges and goals to complete, with rewards to earn as you progress across the server.

There are 19 new advancement trees covering many parts of Newwind, giving both new and experienced players plenty of things to work towards.

New Advancement System

A new progression system has been added to help players track their Newwind journey.

• Press L or type /advancements to open the advancement menu and view your progress.
• You can also type /advancements top to view the players with the most completed advancements.
• Some advancements are hidden or secret, revealing themselves as you progress through each tree.
• Your advancement completion percentage now shows on your /profile.
• As of writing, nobody has reached 100% completion yet, could you be the first?

Advancement Types and Points

Newwind advancements can track many different types of progress, making them more powerful than vanilla.

Examples include:

• Completing unique challenges and milestones.
• Collecting items, rare items, and full collections.
• Finishing timed challenges.
• Unlocking advancement reward tiers.

Advancements can award different amounts of points depending on their difficulty, and some can award points in multiple categories at once.
There are 5 different categories of points you can earn as you complete advancements, each representing a different aspect of gameplay:

• Towny - Building and working with your clan and community.
• PvPer - Proving your pvp skills and versatility by fighting others.
• Socialite - Working with others and being part of the community.
• Collector - Finding rare items and completing item collections.
• Grinder - Progressing through Newwind's many systems and getting rich.

Advancement Reward Tiers
Completing advancements earns points in different categories.
Each category currently has five reward tiers, unlocked automatically as you reach the required amount of points.
