Auction House Buy Orders

A buy-order system has been added to the Auction House, think of these as auctions, but reversed.
Instead of players bidding on an item listed by a seller in a traditional auction,
the buyer creates a buy order and sellers compete to fulfill it for the lowest possible price.

For example, if somebody creates a Buy Order for 2x Candescas with a maximum payment of 20 Embers:

• One player could offer to sell them for 20 Embers.
• Another could undercut them at 18 Embers.
• Another could offer 15 Embers.
• If 15 Embers is still the lowest offer when the order ends, that seller wins.
• The buyer receives the Candescas and gets their 5 unused Embers back.

Creating a Buy Order

• Choose the item and amount you want to buy from a list of eligible Newwind and vanilla items.
• Certain items let you pick extra requirements, such as year, mintness, or minimum durability.
• Choose your maximum payment and how long the order should last.
• Your maximum payment is taken immediately, so it is secured for the eventual seller.
• Vanilla items can be bought using Diamonds or Embers.
• God Items can be bought using Embers only.
• After creation, you can cancel or increase your maximum payment while an order has no offers.

Fulfilling Buy Orders

Players with the requested item can compete to fulfill a buy order.

• Your offer must be lower than the current lowest offer.
• The required items are removed from your inventory and secured while your offer is active.
• Once the first seller makes an offer, buy order length is immediately reduced to 1 hour.
• If another player undercuts you, your items are immediately returned to your /claimitems.
• When the order ends, the winning seller receives their payment through /claimitems.
• The buyer receives the requested items and any unused payment through /claimitems.
• If the order ends without any offers, the buyer's maximum payment is returned through /claimitems.
• Some buy orders are created by spawn traders for items they may sell or receive from quests.
• You may filter buy orders that you can fulfill using items in your inventory/ender-chest/clan vault.
