We plan on releasing a number of updates to overhaul newwind over the next while, the plan is as follows:

1.19 Update

Newwind will be updated to 1.19

The Item Re-Balance Update:

We will be buffing/reworking most of the least PVP viable items.

Some items may also be nerfed.

Newwind pack will update to 1.19.

Newwind Quests Update:

Over 200 new quests.

Everyone will have the same dozen daily quests.

Completing them gives you loot and quest points.

If you gain enough quest points throughout the week you get the special weekly item reward which may be a brand new item.

Special daily rewards for active players.

Newwind Tutorial and Stuff:

Tutorial for new players when they first join in hub.

Teaching them the basics of the server.

Will reduce confusion and early quitting, hopefully growing the number of players over time.

We will also advertise newwind more.

All cabot items will be added to the midas key pool.

Vote rewards will be replaced with vote keys obtained from completing all votes, which can be used to open a pool of loot.

Marriage partners will be able to access each-others set-homes.

Newwind Summer Event

The fourth annual summer event that will take place on newwind.

Expect some cool new items.

Display Tags:

Cosmetic items that will be obtainable from a 'Tag Key'.

They are generated uniquely with random attributes such as gradient colors, icon and styling.

When equipped and will appear above your head and the icon will show before chat messages.

Can be taken off and traded to other players.

You can customize the message that appears alongside it when above your head.

Discord Chat Bridge and Emojis:

Allows users to chat between the newwind discord and in-game.

Will have a selection of emojis you can use in-game.

Elytra Race:

Can participate at any time, scoreboard of times.

Fastest runs of the day wins prizes.

Race through various obstacles throughout spawn.
